Can not run "CentOS-7-x86_64-LiveCD-1503" in VB in windows8

Hi Folks,

I am trying to run CentOS7 in VirtualBox running on a Windows8 host. Everytime I try to run the CentOS7 in it, it gives the error -

Make sure the kernel module has been loaded successfully

Can anybody please Help me to resolve the issue ? I have attached the screenshot for the same.

VirtualBox version? Startup log?

Anyway, see the "security" discussion at the top of this forum. I'd guess that your problem is a hacked theme.

Hi mpack,

I tried several things which solve the issue. The issue may be was due to mainly 2 facts -
1. My laptop did not have Intel virtualization enabled.
2. I was trying to run a 32 bit version of the CentOS, while the host laptop had windows 8 64 bit.

The problem stands resolved now. Thank you for your response on this.
