Gotcha. My Virtualbox.exe from version 4.2.16 has that info. I suspect they just forgot to put it in the version you're using. Post this explanation on the Bugtracker (https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Bugtracker) and I'm sure the developers will take a look into it.

I'm glad we have a Suggestions section. :)

Well spotted. v5 on Windows hosts seems to be missing version info from some, but not all exe files. Raising a BugTracker ticket might be a good idea.

However, where does "SUMO" come into it? This is not an acronym I'm familiar with. I just call it version info - or "VERSIONINFO" (which is the name of the resource script field involved).

This might belong in the Suggestions forum, but then again the discussion is Windows Host specific, so this forum is a reasonable choice too.

how to delete or close this topic?

That isn't your call. This is not a support topic since you are not entitled to support. It's an open discussion intended to benefit all. The mods will close it when the discussion is no longer productive.

In any case, why would you want to delete the topic? Have you alerted the devs to the issue by some other means? Rarely, this is a topic that actually discusses something new!
