Host: Win 7 Pro
Guest: Centos 7 from osboxes (CentOS 7.1-1503 (64bit).vdi)
Video Memory: 128MB
System->Motherboard->Base memory: 1GB
I have two monitors with 1920x1080 resolution.

Virtual machine screen won't resize. The funny thing is that I was able to do it a few days ago so I know
it is possible.

Since auto-resize is disabled you more than likely need to update the vboxadd drivers because of a kernel update or install missing additions.

As elevated user in terminal will adjust this if they were previously installed

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/vboxadd setup
Note: installing dkms will keep this from happening on kernel updates.

Please elaborate. I'm new to VirtualBox and a novice Linux user.
As a "root" in guest OS invoking:
#/etc/init.d/vboxadd setup
does not recognize vboxadd.

See the manual for what and how to install guest additions ( in the guest ) http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.html#idp96235792

And the tutorial section also has a dedicated page for guest additions. viewforum.php?f=29
