I had the same issue, I tried this build and can confirm that it works to start a guest now.
You can get the log before and after this revision from the VirtualBox Public bugtracker under ticket 14370. (Can't post the link because of this warning: You must be a member for 1 days and have 1 posts before you can post urls.)
Only the VM's has no sound (but this is already a known issue under Windows 10 hosts if I'm right).

Seems to have fixed issue I was having with a LXLE VM; CPU AMD A10-5800K MEM 16GB Windows 8.1. Installed 5.0.1, no reboot, VM works. Using KVM paravirtualization.
