Not recognizing my wireless adapter

Post by Kirk »

All my VirtualBox, (VB), VMs no longer have functioning networking. I'm pretty sure I was using my wireless adapter before with them as I rarely plug in the network cable. The lost of networking started after installing version 4.3.20 r96997, no luck with the newer 4.3.28 r100309 version. I've seen posts on the internet for others with same issue but can't find anything in these forums. One article that worked for many, (not me), was to do the following commands...

VBoxManage modifyvm "WIndows 10" --natdnshostresolver1 on
VBoxManage modifyvm "WIndows 10" --natdnsproxy1 on
VBoxManage modifyvm "CRM 2011" --natdnshostresolver1 on

I've tried all kinds of things but what seems to stand out is that VB can't see my Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235 wireless device. Any thoughts or actions greatly appreciated, have given up.

I should add the wired NIC card Intel PRO/1000 MT doesn't work either now.

Post the guests log file ( as an attachment )

Preferably not a win-10 guest log since it is not supported yet.
