NS_ERROR_FAILURE on launch in 5.0.0 RC1
NS_ERROR_FAILURE on launch in 5.0.0 RC1
Was using a Windows 7 VM in 4, noticed an update to 5.0.0 RC1. Shutdown the Win7 VM and upgraded. Now I get NS_ERROR_FAILURE anytime I try to start a VM. Thoughts? I am running El Capitan Public Beta.

Make sure you download the release version of VirtualBox 5.0 from the downloads page.

FWIW, there are some issues with OSX 10.11 and VirtualBox not to mention issues with OSX 10.11 itself.

Thanks! That was it. In 4, it notified me of an update with a link to the RC which had this bug. The official release you linked does not have this bug and seems to work fine. I guess someone needs to update the update alerter.

I've never used the update alerts in 6 years.
