Error Opening Windows 10 Preview File: 0x80BB0005

I have had a error while opening the Windows 10 Preview build 10162. The error is as follows:
Failed to open the optical disk file C:\Users\********\Downloads\Windows10_InsiderPreview_x64_EN-GB_10162.iso.

Could not get the storage format of the medium 'C:\Users\******\Downloads\Windows10_InsiderPreview_x64_EN-GB_10162.iso' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).

Result Code: VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80BB0005)

Does anyone have any idea why this has happened, I have tried to redownload the file, but again it did not work and i am at a loss at what to do!

The .iso file contains:

[BOOT]
README.TXT

inside [BOOT] it contains:

Bootable_NoEmulation.img

That is all that is inside the .iso file!

Yes, it said on microsoft's website that it had a SHA1 Value of:

C1C08D22876F45444880275D26CB5ECB8347620B

but I cannot see where to put this data into virtual box

You don't enter the value. You have to check the sha-1 value of the file you downloaded against the value listed to make sure your download is good. Search for how to check the sha-1 value for a file.

Unfortunately it still is coming up each time after download, but each time with the same hash as the previous download, but not the one from microsoft's website but this hash:

65d35928e898efc477222219ed8e5433e0aed21d

any ideas what to do?

You should contact Microsoft about that. There's certainly nothing we can do about a checkum failure on your PC.
