Critical error when opening virtual box

Hello,
I have ran virtual box successfully on my mac book pro for about 3 years. Recently when I try to open the program is says it cannot open because of a critical error. The pop-up advised me to copy the log for trouble fixing, however, it is too big for this post. If anyone can help that would be wonderful. I have no idea what to do!
