Hi,
Scenario:
I connect via Remote Desktop App from Microsoft on my iPhone to a Windows System where VirtualBox is running.
Starting a VM is possible, mouse/keyboard Focus in the VM as well, starting via pressing F12 to get in PXE mode.
Probably after that, no pressed key will be accepted.
Sure, you could say this is a Microft App Issue, but maybe there's a trick ?'
Using this App with RDP and runnig ESX VM's in vSphere is working properly !

First of all, please read Minimum information needed for assistance.
What do you see once you get into PXE mode?

Re: Usi8nfg VirtualBox via Remote Desktop App
After pressing F12 the first time I see the bootmenu
(LAN, CD, ...)
Probably the "L" can't be "send" to the VM.
But again, it is working in general.
I speak about using that via the MS Remote Desktop App:
„Microsoft-Remotedesktop“ von Microsoft Corporation
https://appsto.re/de/CTDLQ.i
The goal is to be able to deploy a VM via PXE from everywhere I'm
without having a laptop...
It's just sending keystrokes to the VM, they do not "arrive", except the first F12 key.

Please provide a VM log file for a session where you try the PXE boot, like described in the link.

Re: Usi8nfg VirtualBox via Remote Desktop App
The version of VirtualBox you are using, and whether you have installed the Guest Additions (in the guest).
VirtualBox 4.3.28 r100309, same for the Guest Additions.
Host & Guest make and version including 32 or 64 bit, and the amount of memory available to both.
Host: Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) - 16 GB RAM
Guest: Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) - 8 GB RAM

Re: Usi8nfg VirtualBox via Remote Desktop App
Looks like VirtualBox doesn't see you are pressing the L key. Can you ensure that:00:00:05.817337 Guest Log: Key pressed: 0086
00:00:09.304897 Guest Log: BIOS: KBD: int09h_handler(): unknown scancode read: 0x6c!
00:00:10.579186 Guest Log: BIOS: KBD: int09h_handler(): unknown scancode read: 0x6c!
00:00:11.524664 Guest Log: BIOS: KBD: int09h_handler(): unknown scancode read: 0x6c!
- You only press the L key, and not try to make it capital
- The keyboard layout configured in the remote desktop session matches your local keyboard layout
- Alt or Ctrl or Shift are not locked in the remote session - this is a common problem in Remote Desktop. To be sure, press only on those keys several times, one key at the time, then press L again.

Re: Usi8nfg VirtualBox via Remote Desktop App
Thanks,
I only press L, it's not capital.
There are no settings possible for the keyboard layout in this App, it is using the keyboard layout from the iPhone.
ALT, CTRL or Shoft are not locked
I've just connected for testing to a VM running in vSphere and it is working like expected.
Tried it on a client wih VirtualBox running, and the VM doesn't accept any keys, except the first F12.
Even if I disconnect the RDP Session and re-connect.
Even with Virtual PC I'venever seen that.
Well, it is like it is, in my point of view a VirtualBox issue.
I'll learn to live with that.
Thanks again.

It would seem like a bug, yes. If you could report it to the BugTracker, including the VM log file you've attached here and a link back to this topic, that would be great.
