[Solved] VM won't work - Preparing flush failed with VERR_NO

i want to use a server 2012 image. after the bootscreen the message appears "Fatal error".

The log says:

Post the entire log please, as a zipped attachment. Also, please describe your actual problem rather than your diagnosis: the warning you highlight is common and harmless.

Hi,

i attached the logfile.

I downloaded the vhd image of win server 2012. It's all fine. If i start the virtual machine the boot screen appears and the windows server icon is displayed. then the message "A fatal error has occurred and the virtual machine execution has been interrupted"

You are allocating 6GB of host RAM to a VM when the host only has around 5GB free. So, I'd start by cutting VM RAM to around 2GB. I would also cut guest cores to 2.
