AltGr key broken after 4.3.28 install and can't get it back

Hello,
after installing virtual box 4.3.28 on 8.1 and an english debian wheezy os guest, my AltGr+1 / AltGr+2 / AltGr+3 doesn't work anymore. Very very very annoying as these are used quite often on a french keyboard. A lot of threads on this, supposed to be fixed and then pop out again, and fixed again.... and now officially fixed ? (michael?).
My keyboard is more important than virtual box so i decided to uninstall everything related to vb. No luck, my keys are still gone. Then i tried to see if some drivers were left behind.
And yes, that sounds unreal, but there is files and registry keys left after uninstallation in drivers system folder, for me :
vboxdrv.sys
vboxnetadp.sys
vboxnetflt.sys
vboxusbmon.sys
vboxusb.sys
and some reg key as well but not all :-/
I wonder why these files are still there but anyway i deleted all of them and still no have my keyboard back. Btw, at this point there is still vbox stuff in fs and registry on my system but i gave up.
So my question is quite simple. Did VB wrecked my windows OS or is there anyway to get my Keyboard back ?
Maybe re-installing an older version of vbox that works or ... any suggestions are welcome (other than re-installing windows).
