Having trouble Virtually Booting Backup Image
Having trouble Virtually Booting Backup Image
I am working on Windows Server 2012 with VirtualBox build 4.3.12. I am trying to virtually boot a backup image, I am getting a VirtualBox - Guru Meditation error which points me here. I have been able to virtually boot this same image in a test environment on Windows Server 2008 with the same Virtual Box build. However now that I am working on the BDR I am receiving this error. It acts like its going to boot, gets to Applying Computer Settings, then sits there for about 5 mins, locks up and then the error pops up. I have tried using an older build of VirtualBox 4.2.30, and get a Failed!! error. I have attached the log file, However I had to zip it, I hope that is not an issue. if I could get a resolution or any help with this error it would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to Google for that error code using "site:forums.virtualbox.org". It has been reported quite a few times before and there are many suggestions for you to try.VBox.log wrote: 00:05:08.524189 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Having trouble Virtually Booting Backup Image
Thank you for your feedback, However I have found that as long as I only use less than half the RAM on for my VM that is available on the physical machine I no longer get this error. The problem now is why can't I utilize as much RAM in the VM as I need.
