I've configured a Internal DHCP network on a Windows 7 host using -
C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\vboxmanage" dhcpserver a
dd --netname neta --ip 192.168.59.1 --netmask 255.255.255.0 --lowerip 192.168.59
.90 --upperip 192.168.56.190 --enable
Then on each of the Linux guests they are configured as -
Guest1 - adaptper1 NAT,virtio-net,allow-all, cable connected and enabled.
Guest1 - adaptper2 Internal Network,neta,virtio-net,allow-all, cable connected and enabled.
Interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet dhcp

Both guests can access the Internet.
Neither guest is picking up the DHCP server running on the host - any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Windows Host Linux Guests Internal Network
What is the output of the following commands in the host (run it into the install directory of VirtualBox):
Code: Select all
vboxmanage list dhcpservers
vboxmanage list intnets
