Updating Guest to Windows 10

I have a 64 bit Windows 8.1 Host with a 64 bit Windows 8.1 Guest (VB 4.3.28). At the end of July I will be wanting to update both Windows to Windows 10. The host will not be a problem but the Guest 'Get Windows 10' tells me that it cannot be upgraded because the Virtual Box Graphics Adaptor is for Windows 8. Can anyone tell me how I will be able to upgrade this Guest?

Technically 10 doesn't exist yet. So Virtualbox doesn't technically support it yet, although they've been playing with it as Microsoft changes it in the Preview stage. Best thing will be to wait to update your guest OS until Microsoft releases Windows 10 in its final form and Virtualbox gets the quirks worked out running it. Then you'll probably be able to upgrade. Don't forget to back up your guests first.
