Win 8.1 & 10 guru meditiation [SOLVED]
Posted: 14. Jun 2015, 00:08
Hi, just wanted to know if someone has the same issue:
Host win 7 x64 4 core amd 8 gb ram. VBox 4.3.12
As of today I am getting a guru meditation on guests windows 8.1 and windows 10130, both x64, two days ago they worked PERFECTLY.
WinXP guest and 5 Linux Guests work PERFECT
The only change was that I tore apart my PC this morning for some dust cleaning. NO hardware changes
Just in case, I restored a three day acronis FULL system (C) partition backup. Still GURU MEDITATION.
Tried doing a clean fresh new VM install of windows 10, GURU MEDITATION when DVD starts booting.
Did a VBox 5.0 RC1 install,
LOL, NO VM WORKS (I have anvidia networking card and an nvidia video card, dual monitor setup)
I'M STUCK ¿IDEAS ANYONE?

edit: *******MY APOLOGIES***** , of the 4 RAM modules (2 GB each) I have, I FORGOT (GASP) to re insert one of them
NOW WITH THE REAL EIGHT GB RAM, Windows 10 is once again installing OK. Tomorrow I will import the Win 8.1 machine from a external backup.
