update virtualbox

hi all. my guest system doesn't work anymore. hard to explain exactly, what happens. version is 4.12. can I update vm just by installing the recent version over the existing? I want to try to fix it this way.

EDIT: the update option inside doesn't work either.

Attach the vbox.log (compressed) here.

Right click the VM in the VirtualBoxGUI. Select "Show Log". Save "VBox.log" to a file. Compress that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down beforehand.

hi. attachement contains 4 log files. don't know which is the right one.

EDIT: pardon. I changed the rar content. now only 3 files (date: 13062015).

I personally don't see anything wrong in the log files. You'll need to describe the problem to be able to help in any way.
