more info....my windows guest only works with interface set to NAT and outbound only. I have no way for the host to communicate with any of the hosts except via the console.

Let's consolidate the info, it's a bit hard to track down what your real issue is now.
For each of your VM, do the following with NAT and Bridged mode and give me the result for each in both modes.
- Ping the VM IP (sanity check)
- Ping the host IP
- Ping another host on your LAN
- Ping your LAN gateway IP
- Ping your public IP

Then do the exact same from your host.

Problem is I can not install the bridged interface
If I attempt that VB doesn't install

I can do what you ask but will have to be later just getting up for work.
We need to understand why the bridged interface won't install

My bad, I actually understood your previous post then. I thought you managed to install the bridged drivers but I was wrong.
About the drivers not installing, you'll need to open a ticket on the BugTracker - only the devs can answer the question now. Make sure you include the logs you posted here and you put a link in the ticket to this topic for a full history.
After creating the ticket, please post back here with the ticket ID.
