Windows ME causes a critical error

My first Windows ME virtual machine on virtual box has a critical error every time it runs. However, I have made more progress with my second, but the errors keep changing.
On first run, it caused a critical error as before (see log "VBox_02_06_2015_1.log" in zip file). Second time it booted in safe mode fine, but blue-screened in normal mode. Ever since, it just hangs on boot (see "vbox.log" in boot). Any ideas?
