I have this odd problem i have not been able to solve but can clearly reproduce.
I'm running Windows 7 on a Lenovo T450 with an Intel 7265 on board ( latest firmware from Intel ) and i'm trying to install virtualbox.
Post-install, my intel wireless nic device gets immediately disabled. re-enabling it works.. for 2 seconds, after which it is promptly disabled again. I'm no windows expert, so the very limited research i could do turned up the following:
- i see an event with id 8000 from NETwNs64 ( no description.. )
- then from WLAN-AutoConfig i receive event 10003 ( WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped unexpectedly.
Module Path: C:\Windows\System32\IWMSSvc.dll )
- device is disabled.
restart/re-enable of the device or the OS for that matter, does not fix this
Any ideas? I tried the RC1 build of 5.0 already, same results.
thanks!!
Andras

You can try Googling for MAX_NUM_FILTERS, and see if that helps.

thanks! Set that at 14. Originally it was at 8.mpack wrote:You can try Googling for MAX_NUM_FILTERS, and see if that helps.
Rebooted - no effect. ( btw, Ofc if i install Virtualbox without the networking feature, the interface stays up. )
thanks,
