Hello Community,
I have a VirtualBox with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Guest and Windows 7 as Host.
In the guest System I have a apache webserver with a SSL certificate and I can access from my host via browser.
Also I have store my cert in my computer certifikate.
But an other program is trying to connect von host to guest, but he can not build a SSL connection to it.
Also I have a web-server in the internet, with the same configuration and on this server, I can connect with SSL.
Why can I not establish a secure connection to virtualbox?
Can everybody help me?
Thank you!
Michael

Re: secure connection from host to guest
If the connection is working from your host inside the browser but not in the 3rd party application, I see no reason to think the issue is with virtualbox, the guest or the certificate.
I would start my investigation with your 3rd party application. Most likely, that application is using its own certificate store and you would need to add the CA that signed your guest certificate to it.
