That's the kind of error that wrecks a Friday.
It appears they don't know why it's happening yet. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=67848
You're not alone and there isn't a fix short of zorching the latest version (4.3.28) and reverting back to a version that worked for you.
I'm going to ignore future update notices until there is new feature I really want or need.

Hmm. I'm amazed that you were able to identify the OPs problem based on the information so far given. I certainly couldn't do that.
