Windows XP will not fully boot, Shadow Protect virtualboot
Posted: 28. May 2015, 21:01
I took a backup of a working computer running windows xp home 32bit using shadow protect. I used their virtualboot feature with the documented compatible 4.3.12 version of virtualbox, and plugin, and compatible 5.2 shadow protect. It created the virtual machine, and when the virtual machine starts, it gets past the initial windows xp blue bar loading screen and gets to the microsoft windows xp logo dark blue light blue screen (right before your profiles appear) and 2 profiles are supposed to show up, but do not, and it does not go any further.
What needs to happen to make this work?
Thanks.

I've attempted this on a windows 8 host, and a windows 7 host, both 64bit. Both same versions as mentioned above as this is the newest shadow protect supports.
