Hi,
I am experiencing a problem switching between monitors in fullscreen mode.
I have 2 monitors, one with a lower resolution than the other. I normally run VirtualBox on the smaller (secondary) screen, in fullscreen mode. There is no problem there.
But if I use host + home (or the mini-toolbar) to switch over to the main screen, then host + home stops working, and the mini-toolbar disappears. So it becomes impossible to send the application back to the second screen. I have to shut down the guest OS, reboot, then the mini-toolbar returns, and I can send it back to the second screen.
It is rather annoying and counter-intuitive for the app to go fullscreen on a monitor other than the one the window is currently residing in. Having to use a hotkey combination and menu function to switch screens rather than just moving the window seems quite a strange choice for an otherwise very well designed application. Having a hotkey to select the monitor directly without navigating a menu would also be helpful.
Has anyone experienced this problem, or know of a solution?
I have searched other threads but the ones I found seemed to be about people unaware of the host + home button more than anything.
Host is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Primary monitor 1920x1280, secondary 1366x768. Graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 760.
Guest is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit.
I can't attach .log files since attachment size limit is 128kb.
