Hello!

Upfront; my knowledge about this stuff is low. I didn't even know you could run an OS in parallel until two days ago. So in an attempt to play FF14 before the Mac's native client release, I've been trying to get everything installed correctly.

I downloaded and installed the FF14 trial onto the guest, but I'm getting ""Fatal DirectX Error (30000000)" upon launching the game. A quick search tells me that it's a video driver issue, and I likely need to update my driver. I have no idea how to do this within VirtualBox.

Playing even old video games in a VM can be... unrewarding. Playing them on an unsupported beta version of Windows... probably isn't the best idea either. You want a version of Windows in which the VirtualBox Guest Additions (which includes the VM-aware graphics drivers) have at least have a proven track record. That's not possible with Win10.
