Port Forwarding not working!

I apologize for the vague and unhelpful title. I have googled my eyeballs out on this issue and I just can't resolve the problem.
I have ubuntu trusty 32 bit in VirtualBox. When I load up the VM through VirtualBox, it can't forward port 2222 on the host to port 22 on the guest:
I tried changing the port to "22222" in both directions to rule out any issues with port numbers on the host or client but no luck. Full logs are below. Can anyone help me figure out why it isn't working?
