well, i update my equip to W8.1 from W8, now i can't run VirtualBox....download and install these version, but in all i get a error (different message error, but in all cases i can't start a virtual machine after create it):

my question is: is there any virtualbox version that works on Windows 8.1 or at least to allow me to run the operating system pre-installed?
I really need to install Debian due to my university work for Saturday, I can't download and testing each version ..

Equip: (clean, only with drivers/Kaspersky/Chrome/MySQL/PostgreSQL) ->Note: of course, disable KS and i get the same error

-8GB Ram (DRAM Frequency~ 798.7 MHz)
-Intel Core i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
-1Tb HD Toshiba (SATA-II 3.0Gb/s)

First, you posted to the wrong section. This should be in Windows Hosts or Discuss the 4.3.28 release.
Second, what was the error message you are getting?

Attach the vbox.log (compressed) for the Debian guest you were trying to start.

Right click the VM in the VirtualBoxGUI. Select "Show Log". Save "VBox.log" to a file. Compress that file and attach it to a message here. Make sure the VM is fully shut down beforehand.

I'm currently running VB 5.0 B4 on a Windows 8.1 host without a problem but I never installed Kaspersky on it.

Moved to Windows host.
