Post by jeffersonareias »

Goodnight everyone, I have a problem in my virtual machine, I will try to explain and post the log together. I'm trying to create a Windows Server 2008 machine, however, when I go to start the virtual machine it's a mistake that should be in the script and working.Would I like a you guys help to see what is happening.
Thank you to everyone involved.

PS: I made some cuts in the log because the log was with 188KB

You should compress the log.

Unfortunately a triple fault is very hard to diagnose - I believe it actually means that it faulted in the fault handler invoked by the original fault, which means we don't know what the original fault is.

All I can tell you from past experience is that it usually means that the guest is not what it says it is. Check for corruption of the ISO (i.e. compare MD5 sums), and make sure it really is an installer for the OS version you told VirtualBox to expect.

What I find unusual is the failure is when booting from CD/DVD so I looked up the file name "2008.R2.SP1.ESD.en-US.Aug2014.iso" and all I can find is it appears to be an illegal pre-activate copy of Windows server 2008, and I can only find it listed on pirate torrents.

Same here although I don't find it surprising that it seems to be the case considering how many people pirate software. I assume Perry saw this while looking as well…

Excuse the delay to speak what was resolved in my case , but found out it was the Windows Server 2008 version that had picked up the hash and the OS was md5 conflict until the competitor gave this error but installs standard ... still, thanks to all involved.

PS Again: You guys are right that this is piracy and everything. But as in Brazil is all nonsense to even make a purchase of original software. Copies of Windows server original is very expensive. But thanks himself for having clarified my doubts .Thank you :D

It's still pirated software no way around that.

While I am at it I would suggest that you do not do any banking on this system or anything that you don't want some hacker knowing. Almost all of this kind of pirated software have key loggers and other nasty bits that can make you life miserable. But you get what you deserve I guess.
