Sorry for making this post very similar to the last one, but I believe now that what I really need is the Service Pack 1a installed in Virtual Box (running windows xp) to get the mother board drivers installed, which in turn will load the rest of the hardware...Funny that when I tried to install Service Pack 1a, it said that a newer version was already installed. Is there a way to remove that from VirtualBox, or disable it, so I can put Service Pack 1a into VirtualBox? Vbox Version 1.6

I just realized that I **MIGHT** have installed another copy of Windows XP that had service pack 2 pre-installed and didn't realize that...For the most part, I hope that was the case, so I sleep easy tonight knowing that everything will work in a few hours when I get up...Feeling exhausted at the moment... Let me get some sleep...

Oh, one more thing...I have my other IDE (PATA drive) connected as the Primary Slave (not as the secondary master, which I stated in the other post) that is my cd/dvd burner)...I don't know if this type of connection makes any difference, but like I say in my edited post, I will soon find out once I get service pack 1a installed and all my mobo drivers are installed properly.
