No internet but DNS resolution ok [RESOLVED]

Hello all,

I installed both Fedora 20 and centos 7 guests over a windows 7 host (VBox 4.3.28).
I manage to ping machines inside my domain, and perform dns resolutions, but no way to access internet.

I disabled firewall on windows, still same issue.

I tried both NAT and Bridge, with different Network cards each time, same symptoms (though Bridge couldn't perform DNS resolution)

I'm pretty sure the issue is on the host side, not the Linux guest. Any help to investigate further is welcomed.

Thanks in advance,

I found the issue if it comes handy to others.

Not directly related to host as I though, but could be detected by virtualbox I think.
I was using a proxy to access the internet. So I needed to configure this proxy also in the guest. Plus, I was testing mainly with yum, which seems to ignore the proxy env vavriable, and needs an explicit "proxy=proxyaddr:proxyport" entry in its configuration file.
Hope it will save time to others.

Problem solved for me, my Fedora works like a charm :)
