Porblem with tilde and 'power of' under XP

Hello.
I searched the forum but didn't find the this problem solved.
Im using virtualbox 1.6.0 with windows xp under ubuntu hardy 64bit.
my keyboard layout is german. In hardy its german and under xp its german too.
All keys work fine (special characters...), except TILDE and the 'POWER OF' key.
They don't seem to exist.
These keys are special, as you use AltGr (third option) and have to press the keys twice to print it to screen. (i hope you understand what i'm trying to say with my humble english:) )
These work under hardy, but not in XP...
I hope you can help me i'm tired for copy and paste
