I've been trying to get the guest time synchronization interval to change to a shorter time. By default if the guest is over 20 minutes out of sync with the host, it will sync the time to the host immediately. I'm trying to get it set to 5 minutes instead, but it doesn't seem to change the behavior in the guest. Here's the syntax of what I'm using:
"c:\program files\Oracle\Virtualbox\VBoxManage.exe" guestproperty set "CPOC" "/VirtualBox/GuestAdd/VBoxService/--timesync-set-threshold" 300000
It seems to accept the command but doesn't change the synchronization timing - still takes a 20 minute deviation before it will brute force change the time.

Well scratch that - apparently it does work. Hopefully somebody else will need the above.....
