server 2012 R2 still has issues opening

I updated my virtualbox only to kill it...
so I went back to a previous version so I could open it. The problem is when open the virtualbox.exe it shows nothing....I see it running along with the service...but nothing shows up on the desktop to I can't open my machines. Will this ever be fixed.....its been a while now...? currently using 4.3.26 as that one did open once....but now it wont open again...
