Sure you can. You just can't post links in your message. Use the attachment feature at the bottom of your reply window.

That sounds wonderfully simple on paper. But how do you detect that a (supported) guest is installed?

New thought, how about a dialog box that opens the first time your start VirtualBox that just reminds users the Guest Additions are available to install in supported guests from the Devices Menu.
