Cannot communicate to any VM (inside or outside)
In my laptop mac OS -Snow leopard VMHost (virtualBox ver 4.3.26 r9898)'
I have installed 2 VMS (all Linux & Linux variants)
On Settings (network) all I did was set it to "NAT' option (enable Network adapter)
(under the advance option defaults (ie 'Cable connected' .. NO port forwarding option, not sure what/how to do through my home service provider )
From my macOS apps I can go to internet & ping any server,
but from NOT inside VM guests)
ping http://www.google.com gives UNKNOWN HOST)
traceroute with google's IP address gives "!H" unknown host
Note: New Version of Vitualhost HostOnly mode shows "name Not selected",
and there is no option to define a 'Name'', so can't try that option,(I tried other modes like bridge mode .. no luck)
All I need is to setup a network working between these VMGuests and also should be able to communicate to other servers i internet
Both IP address are under the sub net 192.168.1.X
I am in a 'time crunch' mode need to get this resolve within a day or two.. PLEASE HELP .. Network 'Gurus' & Virurtualbox support team PLEASE
(Note: Virtualbox.org 'Search button' in chrome does not bring any result)
