Virtualbox refuses to install

i can't get Virutalbox to install for the life of me. i can get the pre 4.0 builds to install but they won't launch they just sit there no task open or anything. when i try to install the 4.0+ versions i get a fatal error and it really bugs me that no one has a resolve for this. my pc is as follows: intel core i7 4770k @ 3.5ghz, nvidia GTX 750ti, corsair 8gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram, GIGABYTE GA-Z87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard. if anyone can help id be really grateful.

VirtualBox 4.0 is ancient so that sounds that you are not able to install VirtualBox since ages. But without a more detailed description of your errors it is impossible to help. Start to tell which exact version you tried to install and what was the result.

i finally just got one of the installs working, i got the 5.0 beta to install after i chose not to install the network drivers. as to the versions i tried i stated i've stated ive tried VB 4.0+ so onwards. i also tried anything pre 4.0. the description of the error is jsut as i got. no code or anything.
