Can't start any VMs - ntdll.dll

Just fresh installed VB and created a VM for Windows 10, but ti wont even let me start it. It gives the error:

NtCreateFile(\Device\VBoxDrvStub) failed: Unknown Status -5600 (0xffffea20) (rcNt=0xe986ea20)
VBoxDrvStub error: ntdll.dll: 7981 differences between 0x300 and 0x4fff in #1 (.text), first: 4c !=1f (rc=-5600)

Make sure the kernel module has been loaded successfully.

I've looked for solutions, but haven't had any luck. I seen that ntdll.dll errors are typically associated with drivers, but I don't know how i can track down which specific driver with just this info.

I'm running Windows 8.1
VirtualBox Ver 4.3.26 r98988
Had MBAM on there but in the logs I seen it mentioned the MBAM chameleon so i uninstalled it

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello there man, i was about to do the exactly same thing, install windows 10 etc.

And got the fix, you just need to uninstall a windows update that "overwrites" the current ntdll.dll (KB3045999) and reboot.

i'm installing windows 10 now without any problem

hope it'll fix your problem :D
