create new and builds directory structure.

Uninstalled with VB tool, rebooted, reinstalled, checked permissions using disk utility and corrected errors.
Name _x_ used with a "-" character. Tried again with an "_" character. No install or run.

SSD on MacBook Pro showing permissions as user_name staff group.
Cannot say I've noticed "staff" group previously on Mac permissions and thought it would be wheel but appears consistent with another Mac running OS X Yosemite. Both using apple install upgrades though not manufacture installed.

Following up. This is a MacBook Pro mid 2011 with known logic board issue.
SSD and Logic board just replaced by Apple following secure erase destroying firmware driver vs blanking disk only... Yeah Apple...

The one file permission issue that seems to recur with reboot is displaypolicyd.
An Example noted here but requires longer membership to include...

The permissions can be repaired using tool but revert back with reboot.

Appears possible that VirtualBox will install and run Centos 7 Linux without any X-Windows components.

Ubuntu 15.04 Desktop downloaded.
Installing image launches and Gui processes through install.
Reboot is then required and performed.

No access to machine. Force power off. Start the machine from VB and comes up with screen size changing and eventually at login prompt. Can login to the machine.

Download and install Fedora 21 following another failed attempt with CentOS. Fedora installs and works fine. CentOS - went to get new ISO and site down....
