Hello,
Running VB 4.2.16 on Windows 8.1 host with a Windows XP guest. My ISP (Cox) is having intermittent DNS problems. In my XP guest, if I change the DNS settings from "auto" to specific name server IP addresses from OpenDNS, does that change actually do anything if I make no similar changes on the Host system? Do I need to change the DNS server info in both systems? I did a search in the VB Help file and here on the message board and didn't find anything addressing DNS changes. Thank you!

I don't think Virtualbox has anything to do with DNS. (Might be wrong...) A google search for "different pcs in network different dns servers" gave me this: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ ... me-router/
