I install Virtual box 4.3 on my Windows 8.1. When I am creating the VM (Linux, 64 bit, Oracle Linux) with the options "Desktop / Graphical Administration Tools", it hangs completely.

I have completed the installation , it hangs when I we issue reboot. VM succesfully comes up if I do not select any of the tools in Desktop. Not sure what is causing the issue.

Please guide me how can i pass this issue. I have 12GB RAM and windows 8.1 OS.

I assume you mean that the guest process hangs, not the VirtualBox process on the host.

Do you eject the virtual CD before the reboot?

Thanks "mpack". I did not eject the CD option, but I do not see any content in that.

I appreciate if you can give me more details of how to eject the CD option. I can check that today.

For your information, this is only happening if I choose "any Desktop related packages like Administration tools, desktop options". If I do not select that option, the VM is starting after reboot.
