Old/missing files after Import Appliance

My first post so, Hello, everybody!
I have a problem with VB and help will be appreciated.
I went from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1. I imported Virtual Appliance and storage that I used on W7 until couple days ago. When I start the new VB on W8.1 newest file is from January 2014 and not from April 2015.
What is the problem?

I expect that the VM was exported without snapshots, or you exported the wrong VM, or you didn't import it properly.

Unless you need to move the VM to VMWare etc, then the proper way to move a VM between hosts is simply to copy the VM folder and then register the .vbox file on the new host using Machine|Add....
