VirtualBox no longer working for me

Hi,

Before yesterday, I had VirtualBox 4.3.18 and it used to work perfectly. I had Windows 10 TP installed on it.

Yesterday, I decided to download Xamarin Android Player for Android development, but ever since then VirtualBox no longer works.

It comes up with:

"Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Android21.

The virtual machine 'Android21' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\Neeraj\VirtualBox VMs\Android21\Logs\VBoxStartup.log'.

I have uninstalled VirtualBox and installed the latest version, and that didn't solve the issue. I tried re-installing 4.3.18 after uninstalling Xamarin Android Player and that hasn't solved the issue either. I have even tried downgrading to 4.3.16, to no avail.

I tried installing a different machine (Windows XP), and even that gives the same error. Some research suggests it's an Anti-Virus problem, but I use Microsoft Security Essentials and it's worked perfectly with that before, so I don't know about that.

The current VirtualBox version number is 4.3.26. It has had several bugfixes since 4.3.16.
