Double key stroke !!

Hi,
I am using VB 4.3.22 r98236 and Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.4 ( 32 bit ) within the same. My host O/S is Win 7 Enterprise Edition.
Now quiet a lot of time, i experience double key input within terminal windows inside guest OEL O/S like if i intend to type "Hello", it may take input as "HHello" , this causes my oracle syntax to become invalid and it's annoying. i tried searching for posts that others may too had a similar issue, and i came across 2 posts but they were very old posts like few years old post where the version was totally diff.
Does anyone knows how to resolve this ?
