I need help.

I am trying to install Windows XP as a guest on OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite.

My VirtualBox is version 4.3.26

My XP installation media is an ISO file I made from an XP installation disk with MagicISO.

The XP installation media has an autorun.inf file.

VirtualBox installed fine and asked to build my first machine.

Following instructions I have ended up with "Fatal Error No Bootable Medium Found"

I made changes in the settings, system and storage tabs with no change in result.

I have Googled. You Tubed and searched here. I have tried every fix that works the settings page.

I am willing to try anything including the ones I have previously tried.

Is anyone else having this problem?

HELP!!

Try using the XP installation disk instead of the ISO.

Assuming you attached the XP .iso correctly, the message means what it says, that the .iso is not bootable. If the XP install disk was an OEM disk such as from Dell etc., it's not going to work. You need a retail XP CD.

IT is a burned copy of XP that I used to run my windows machine before I got the macbook.

Thank you for the information.
