Installing Oracle 11g on RHEL 7.1

I am having the most trouble trying to install Oracle DB 11g on this virtual machine. Is there anyone who can help me? I have a disk with the oracle software, but the virtual machine cannot recognize the disk. Updates will not work because I dont have a subscription. Is there any way that I can get a free subscription or trial so that yum updates will work?
