I have a windows 7 host with a windows 7 guest with a performance issue anytime I use just NAT and I can't figure out why.
Here are my scenarios:
At work, Bridged does not work over the wifi so that's not really an option, but the NAT is slow both over wifi and when connected to the LAN. When I do bridged over the LAN it works fine.
At home, bridged works fine over the wifi and NAT works fine ONLY when I have the VPN connected. If I disconnect from VPN I see pretty slow response again.
There seems to be some serious delays in the upload times, but I can't figure out what would cause that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm on 4.3.26 and I have the latest guest additions loaded on the vmware.
Thank you
Windows 7 slow NAT

that begs the question, are you trying to use VMWare and VirtualBox together? And if so, how?

Re: Windows 7 slow NAT
I think you need to post your network settings for your host and guest so someone can look over them.

Thank you for the response. Is there a way to get a dump of the information that would be helpful?loukingjr wrote:I think you need to post your network settings for your host and guest so someone can look over them.
