Hello,
I'm running an application that connects to a remote IBM iSeries server from a Windows 8 Virtual Machine.
This application works fine when I run it from a Windows PC.
When I run the application from Virtual Box I get FIN-WAIT-2 Tcp Error Message on Iseries box after 10 minutes..
I'm not a TCP-IP/Network expert and I cannot figure out what and where (Iseries or Virtual Box) is wrong.
I've used NAT configuration in Virtual Box.

How is the host networked? If the host is on a LAN, you could try using a bridged network connection rather than NAT. This will give the guest the same sort of network connection as the host OS has.

the server is not on LAN , but remote with a public IP address.
