I have discovered a strange phenomen with WindowsXP as the Virtualbox guest. Files which are saved to a network share from winxp (vbox guest) are shown on Win7 (vbox host) which has the same network shares connected, with a delay of 10 to 20 seconds.
Unfortunately this behaviour isn't reproducable. On the other hand a user could show this to me. Also other users confirmed that this happens (sometimes). Up to now I could test only that refresh by [F5] won't help to show the files earlier on the host Win7.
Because I wasn't able to reproduce this phenomen, I couldn't test what happens on the file server directly. Probably our client and server infrastructure is a little bit unusual: Windows clients and linux server with Samba shares and Samba4 as the Active Directory domain.
Is this behaviour known to someone?
Any suggestions what can I do and test (on client / on server) when it happens again?
