windows 8 AMD-V is disable

Hello,

I am trying to use virtual bos on a computer with windows 80 (it was not possible on my pc wich is with Windows xp) but i have the same problème and i did not found where i can change the "virtualisation" in the bios.

Can you help me ?

How you get into the BIOS to enable VT-x varies some with different PC makers. And not all CPUs support VT-x. If you know the CPU in your PC it's easiest enough to look up.

I 'm not shure i have understand all what you say. but the cpu is AMD E1-2500 Apu and i found on spu-world.com it's AMD-V AMD virtualization technology.
What shall i do ?

Look up your computer brand and model and see how you boot into the BIOS. If you have the manual that would work also. :)

infact i had tried but didn't find the right menu now it is ok. but i have a new message error : this kernel requires an x86-64cpu, but onlu detected an i686 cpu unable to boot please use a kernel appropriate for your cpu. I dont know what i must change, if there is a solution.

an other question after i had started virtual box my keyboard was not answering any more ?

You're going to need to read this thread. I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests

if i understand
1 and 2 are ok for me think point 3 also because i had to enable the virtualization.
but the version is not 64 but 32 and i can't cange it in the oracle "gestionnaire de machine" what must i do ?

you need to close the guest before you can change the setting.
