I was trying to install Victoria II from a CD and when I loaded the game it gave me an error stating: 'Failed to create a graphic device. Exiting.'
I do not know what to do. I have been searching for a few hours and no luck. (It's 11:48 P.M., and I started at 9:16 P.M.)
Guest OS: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1
Host OS: Ubuntu 14.04.4
VBox Version: 4.3.10
Guest Additions: Yes

Two things, your VirtualBox version is over a year old. The current version is 4.3.26. The second thing is, many games will not run in a virtual machine.

I'll update it and see if that works.
