Guest additions not changing resolution
I have installed guest additions on my VM a couple of times now but I still can't get the resolution to go full when the its in full screen, I've tried Host + G but still no luck.

you actually have to run the guest additions installer from the CD once it's mounted. not just attach it to the guest.

Thats the thing, I do run it from the CD and then when it reboots the resolution doesn't change even with Host + G activated.

did you try just dragging the screen to a different size?

FWIW, Windows 10 is being flaky. It insists on updating to 10041 even though it updated twice before.

I can't post an image because i haven't been a member long enough but no it's not stuck. It's full screen but there is a black box around the OS instead of it being 1:1

okay, well, I just downloaded the 10041 .iso to do a clean install. I'll install the GAs and see what's up. BBL.

Don't know if this will help but I had to right click on the W10 desktop and select screen resolution before screen resizing worked. That is different than in the previous W10 builds.
